This cause is near and dear to us as my daughter Claire was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) just over one year ago.  We will be joining together our efforts to raise awareness and contributions with some of Claire’s friends, Mattie, Patrick & TJ, otherwise known as The MighT1’s.  Preview their team page and video below to learn more about The MighT1’s, T1D and this great event!

How can I get involved?

1. Come walk (4 miles) or run (8k) with us on Sunday May 18th 8:00 am at Husky Stadium and make the MighT1's the largest team at the event. To join our team, simply click the "Join This Team" button on the like below and follow the instructions. After you register, consider making a personal contribution and join our fundraising efforts.

2. Come work a booth or hand out bottled water.
   
   
3. Come cheer us on! If you aren't up for the walk or run but still want to participate, greet our team members as they cross the finish line on Sunday May 18th 8:00 am. The race begins and ends in front of Husky Stadium at the University of Washington.
