R. H. Brown Co. is a fourth generation family owned business with offices in Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon. The company dates back to 1911 when it was founded under the name, Washington Cycle and Supply in Tacoma by Richard H. Brown; at that time the company primarily sold bicycles and miscellaneous industrial equipment.

Years later a partnership between Stan Larsen and Richard H. Brown was established along with changing the name to R. H. Brown Co. to better represent the wide variety of industrial supplies and material handling equipment sold by the company. Soon after, Stan's son Richard Larsen joined on. Today, Mr. Larsen's grandson, R. Scott Larsen is the President and CEO bringing a new generation and vision to over one hundred years of success.

In the early days R. H. Brown Co. primarily supplied equipment. Over the past few decades we have expanded our capabilities to better serve a changing market and our customer's needs. Our customers represent a broad base of industries; food processing, fruit packaging, wholesale distribution, retail distribution and manufacturing. Projects often include conveyor systems, Lean Logix Warehouse Control Software and Automated Storage Systems. Our expanded services include project design, engineering, project management, installation and after sale service.
