R.H. Brown Co. is a fourth generation family owned business with offices in Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon. The company dates back to 1911 when it was founded under the name, Washington Cycle and Supply in Tacoma by Richard H. Brown; at that time the company primarily sold bicycles and miscellaneous industrial equipment.
Years later a partnership between Stan Larsen and Richard H. Brown was established along with changing the name to R.H. Brown Co. to better represent the wide variety of industrial supplies and material handling equipment sold by the company. Soon after, Stan's son Richard Larsen joined on. Today, Mr. Larsen's grandson, R. Scott Larsen is the President and CEO bringing a new generation and vision to over one hundred years of success.
In the early days R.H. Brown Co. primarily supplied equipment. Over the past few decades we have expanded our capabilities to better serve a changing market and our customer's needs. Our customers represent a broad base of industries; food processing, fruit packaging, wholesale distribution, retail distribution and manufacturing. Projects often include conveyor systems, LeanLogix™ Warehouse Control Software and Automated Storage Systems. "The company is Colson's most valuable distributor in the Northwest United States. In fact, R.H. Brown happens to be Colson's longest standing distributor with a partnership of over 93 years in the making. R.H. Brown is not only a valued and long-standing partner of Colson, but also an excellent vehicle in getting our products to market in the Northwest. The R.H. Brown team has also been instrumental in assisting in the design of caster and wheel products to comply with customer requests."

"I would like to take this opportunity to recognize the RH Brown Company for their knowledge, experience, and quality customer service. Whether it's an equipment purchase or turnkey installation RH Brown has the expertise to propose options that will meet our throughput or budget requirements. RH Brown projects are on time and perform as promised. Most importantly there is a level of trust and confidence in RH Brown that you don't always get from an equipment supplier. It feels like RH Brown is as invested in the project as much as we are."
